Sebastian Reuss
Consultant
I have been working for Altran in the field of automotives for a year and a half. After studying IT, a previous fellow university student told me about Altran. Originally I worked in the development centre of the department for embedded software programming; later I took part in a project with a car manufacturer. A speedy start with Altran was made possible by introductory seminars and a mentor programme. Well developed soft skills are important for my daily routine. I took part in a communication workshop at the Altran Academy and learnt to approach the client with conviction and apply my expertise in a practical manner. It is also possible to work internally with Altran. I enjoy doing this in the “Campus Team”, organising technical presentations, events and company contact exhibitions. This is where I can arouse the interest of graduates in working for Altran. Last but not least, Altran has become an attractive employer who regularly promotes social intercourse, e.g. by company events!
Lutz Franken
Senior Consultant
As Senior Consultant I work in various project teams and advise our clients on their technological challenges, some of which are in the fields of software engineering, J2EE, Oracle, Java, C, C++, XML, object orientated analysis, UML, object orientated design, data bank design. After studying IT at the University of Kaiserslautern, I worked in all project stages, from strategic studies up to implementation of innovative solutions. With over 5 years experience in telecommunications, my expertise is focussed on the fields of project management and application development. I like working for Altran because apart from professional cooperation I always find an understanding listener.
Matthias Weder
Business Manager
As Business Manager I bear full responsibility for my Profit Center within the group. I recruit and manage my team of consultants and care for my key clients. In our Solution Practice Information Systems I am responsible for the IT Governance & Management department. My expertise covers advice and support in the fields of CRM, Process Management and Compliance. During my studies at the Technical University of Hanover I worked in the field of Strategic Research with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, I later started my career with Altran as Senior Consultant. Work at Altran is distinguished by a good mix of strong commitment and a positive attitude.
Blanca Jiménez Ruiz
Senior Consultant
After completing my studies of electro-technology I wrote my thesis with one of our clients in Germany where some of my present Altran colleagues were working. It is through them that I became aware of Altran and began my career in 2001 as consultant in our enterprise. I decided on Altran because they offer me numerous chances of developing my career due to the wide spectrum of interesting projects in various industries. Working in a multicultural corporation with an international network is not only exciting, it also promotes my professional development to a great extent. In the course of my work on various client projects, I have specialised in the field of automotive technology, in particular in infotainment development. I was promoted to Senior Consultant in March 2010. Internally I am involved in the Campus Team and as Site Coordinator. The internal network of colleagues is significant not only for me and my personal development, but also for the overall strengthening of our competency.
Georg Wallner
Business Manager
Immediately after my studies of technical physics I started working for Altran as a Consultant. Originally I worked in the fields of integration and infotainment, later on exciting projects with car manufacturers and parts suppliers. At the beginning of 2011 I was promoted to Business Manager. In this job I now manage a team of over thirty Consultants and look after clients and projects in various fields. Altran allows me a comprehensive insight in the international automotive environment. Here I was given the chance of developing according to my wishes and ambitions, and to get to know various jobs in international corporations. The prospects of objective further development are for me, even after over 9 years in the company, one of the reasons I would always apply for a position. Whether specialised in a defined field of work or trying for generalised training is in the employee's own hands. The chances for development are, due to our multi-industry orientation, literally unlimited. Altran also offers many chances for internal involvement. Personally I support the HR team in recruiting exhibitions and thus come into contact with the Consultants of the future.
