Altran donates 7,000 euros to child relief organisations
Altran GmbH & Co. KG offered their support in the fight against cancer in children by donating 3,500 euros to the Kinderkrebs-Zentrum (Child Cancer Centre) in Hamburg. A further donation of 3,500 euros went to the "Kindernothilfe" (German children's aid organisation) and will help train Ugandan orphans and street children for future jobs. Both donations were presented to the relief organisations in December 2009 by the Executive Members of Altran GmbH & Co. KG.
For many years now, Altran Germany has regularly been making donations to various institutions that are committed to supporting children who are seriously ill. "We would like to do something for the weakest members of our society", says Olaf Schnell, Managing Director of Altran Germany. "We wish to show our support for the excellent work being done by the various institutions in this country by making at least a small contribution."
Altran hopes their donation will make many of the little patients happy and offer them strong support in this difficult time.
