OpticsKnow-how from the light laboratoryALTRAN Technologies supports companies in the development of new optical systems and provides assistance throughout the entire development process of optical, optoelectronic and mechanical systems. Lens simulations as well as the definition of interfaces between mechanics and electronics for optical systems are some key areas we cover. Using modern simulation tools and methods, we provide assistance throughout the entire development process from concept via design and experimental implementation right through to prototype and readiness for series production. For the implementation of the development and the measurements we employ the facilities at our own optical measurement laboratory. In addition, ALTRAN Technologies has competences in test management and instrument engineering at its R&D Center. There, we transfer know-how from the aerospace sector and the automotive industry into the field of optics. Such transfer incidentally also happens in the other direction from optics to other sectors. Apart from the technical development activities, ALTRAN Technologies can also take over the entire project management (with certified project managers on site), for instance to guide a project through a critical phase or to guarantee the problem-free progress of an entire project. The use of professional requirements engineering makes sure that resources are applied efficiently for value-adding tasks from the start. By the by: ALTRAN Technologies also has a great deal of expertise in quality and process management, gained in various industries. And that is also of great benefit particularly to our customers, since both play an important role in the efficient and effective development of optical systems. An audit can, for instance, show up concrete improvement potentials in existing systems. Of course it is also possible to introduce a complete process or quality management system and place it in the safe hands of ALTRAN.
