ConsortiaFlexRayFlexRay is a serial, deterministic and error-tolerant bus system for use in motor vehicles, which is designed to also fulfil the higher demands that will be placed on in-car networking in the future. In addition to offering real-time capabilities and being failsafe, this includes mainly a higher data transmission rate, which is a topical demand because of the steady proliferation of driver assistance systems for powertrain and running gear in high-end vehicles. The core partners of the FlexRay Consortium include the companies BMW AG, Daimler AG, Adam Opel GmbH, Freescale Halbleiter Deutschland GmbH, NXP Semiconductors, Robert Bosch GmbH and Volkswagen AG. ALTRAN Technologies was commissioned with the administration of the FlexRay Consortium. Our team supports the consortium with the handling of the entire operational activities.
