"Tailoring our offers to ASD specific issues"

In your opinion, what are the main challenges facing the ASD industry?

In a more complex environment, both internally and externally, the industry is going through a global transformation driven by three challenges. First of all, within the industry itself, the need to accelerate product life-cycle management in order to reduce time-to-market, notably between the engineering and manufacturing processes. Secondly, to further relationships with partners and suppliers within a worldwide network, via extended enterprise models. And finally, the fact that regulations governing safety and environmental issues are becoming increasingly demanding.

What is your function in the Altran group and what are your responsibilities?

As global project manager of the Information Systems Solution, I am responsible for monitoring and deploying Altran’s IS offering in the ASD, AIT and Energy Industries. I work with the practice manager to define the value proposition of Altran’s IS offer for each Industry, monitor offer deployment, develop specific action plans and promote major deals with the Industry’s top ten customers. To keep abreast of day-to-day operations, I am also ASD Project Director at Altran Sud Ouest (Toulouse) on a part-time basis.

What can these IS offers bring to Altran’s clients?

Altran applies its high-tech skills to develop solutions that address the issues in the ASD Industry and which are tailored to our customers’ business processes. Indeed, the added value of Altran’s IS offer stems from the Group’s ability to connect IS/IT management (heart of global IT services companies) with our clients’ businesses and operations. This is especially true for engineering and manufacturing solutions which represent Altran’s core activities.

Finally, what are your key assets that will help you to succeed in your role as IS Global Manager ?

First of all, my in-depth knowledge of our offerings and ability to sell these solutions throughout the sector network as well as to our clients. Secondly, a proactive understanding of major industrial challenges and objectives. And finally, the fact that I am always enthusiastic about meeting new colleagues and customers.
