Nuclear incidents such as those in Chernobyl in 1986 and in Fukushima last year have triggered a social and political rethinking process with society dissociating itself from nuclear power and investing more in renewable energies. However, these ambitious projects are frequently exposed to various political, economical, social and technical risks which will be illustrated and explained in the following abtract by our consultant Konstantin Graf.
