- Identification of all project participants (stakeholder analysis)
- Analysis of existing development process and addition of necessary process stages
- Agreement on performance interfaces with relevant stakeholders
- Coordination of joint procedures for validation of the highly interconnected functions with the participating interface partners
- Overall vehicle analysis and vehicle test with various measuring techniques, e.g. CAN and Flexray tracing, OBD analysis, etc.
- Virtual system analysis by means of active chains and simulations
- Simulation of the most important impact parameters to assess cost-down potentials at an early stage

- Virtual validation allows for prediction of the impact of cost-down measures on the whole function network
- Improved safeguarding chains result in a stable development process with functional maturity being achieved at an earlier stage
