It is composed of more than 160 members and partners, including, among others, BMW AG, Robert Bosch GmbH, Continental AG, Daimler AG, General Motors Holdings LLC, Ford Motor Company, Peugeot Citroën Automobiles S.A., Toyota Motor Corporation and Volkswagen AG.
Partnership
For several years now Altran has been responsible for general, quality and release management as well as administration. A team of seven is currently supporting supporting the entire partnership in developing its standard.
The administrative tasks include support of and care for various committees, integration of new members, arranging and holding AUTOSAR conferences as well as internal and external communication. Moreover, AUTOSAR administration is the primary direct contact to the AUTOSAR partnership.
Quality and release management ensure consistent quality of the AUTOSAR specifications (and their publication). Technical management, on the other hand, supports the partnership with regard to competent project management. It provides an essential link in respect of the work of the different committees, independent monitoring of the course of a project from a technical point of view, and application and development of processes.
Since 2010 Altran has also been an AUTOSAR premium member and thus involved in the development of the AUTOSAR standard within the work packages. Through this close cooperation in the work packages and the resulting access to up-to-date information Altran has made a name for itself as consultant for the AUTOSAR world, providing its customers with an extensive service portfolio.
